Tapestry fabric "Sirin and Alkonost"
Sirin and Alkonost are the celestial bird-maidens of Slavic mythology, reimagined through a modern lens. Two birds flanking the World Tree represent one of the most ancient archetypes of mythological parallelism, characteristic of all Indo-European cultures.
Birds symbolize the link between earth and sky, embodying the human soul. The soul is winged, and its voice resonates within us; yet, only with pure intent can it be heard. In myth, everything depends on the hero: those who hear the voice of their soul find their path.
